Kentucky G.R.A.N.T. Program of 2024

Funding Opportunity

Applications details are now available for the Kentucky G.R.A.N.T. Program of 2024! One of the top barriers to federal grant funding reported by Kentucky communities is meeting cash match or cost-sharing requirements. For this reason, Grant Ready Kentucky and our partners championed Kentucky House Bill 9, which passed unanimously and was signed into law on April 7, 2023. The bill created the Government Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation Program (G.R.A.N.T. Program). In 2024, the KY General Assembly modified the G.R.A.N.T. program with HB 723 and expanded the funding pool to $200 million pool for local match awards. Applications will be accepted on a monthly rolling basis starting June 1, 2024.

The G.R.A.N.T. Program of 2024 is administered by the Cabinet for Economic Development, and a dedicated website for application details, recorded webinars, and FAQs is available here: https://ced.ky.gov/GRANT
