With over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, Sarah has worn many hats and honed a versatile skill set across fund development, grant writing, event planning, communications, succession planning, and strategic planning. Her expertise empowers nonprofits to fulfill their missions consistently, quarter after quarter. Holding a Master’s in Urban Planning and Public Administration from the University of Louisville, Sarah is deeply committed to equitable community development and excels in building strategic partnerships and narratives that drive impactful change.
In 2019, she founded her own consulting business, collaborating with nonprofits and providing grant writing services across sectors such as environmental, workforce development, arts and culture, and health and human services. Since then, Sarah has helped her clients secure over 6 million in grant funding. Her extensive experience spans corporate philanthropy, foundation giving, and state and federal grants, with a deep understanding of Louisville and Kentucky’s state-wide philanthropic landscape.
Sarah is a seasoned grant writer, specializing in crafting compelling applications for local, regional, and state-wide non-profits, focusing on key sectors such as ability services, economic and workforce development, health and human services, and the arts. Her expertise spans across the board, from private foundations, corporate giving programs to federal funding opportunities.
With a proven track record, Sarah has successfully secured grants from entities like the National Endowment for the Humanities, Appalachian Regional Commission, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and Environmental Protection Agency. Over the past 6 years, she has partnered with dozens of nonprofits in Kentucky and Indiana, helping them raise over $20 million in funding to advance their missions and expand their impact.
