
The Kentucky Services and Infrastructure eXpansion (KY SIX) initiative aims to increase equitable access to services and supports for children and youth at risk of or with serious emotional disabilities, specifically those with involvement in child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems. These grants are intended to support the implementation or expansion of programming in the provision of trauma-and grief-informed care services and supports, such as high fidelity wrapround, other clinical services, peer support, and/or therapeutic non-clinical supports.

Grant funding is available to community-based, 501(c)3 organizations that have demonstrated evidence of success serving minoritized and marginalized children and youth and their families. Funds shall be used to initiate or expand programming in the provision of trauma-and grief-informed care services and supports, high fidelity wrapround, other clinical services, and/or therapeutic non-clinical supports.
Kentucky Services and Infrastructure eXpansion will only fund projects that:
utilize a trauma-informed care approach;
provide culturally responsive, evidence-based/informed services and supports;
are located in the state of Kentucky;
have established community relationships and a history of investment and engagement within marginalized and minoritized communities and/or populations; and
have a comprehensive plan for the continuation of services and supports beyond the grant period.
Funding announced 05/06/2025.
All funded activities must take place within the grant period, from May 6, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
Cash or in-kind match is required. Amount is not specified.
